I am the wife of my best friend. The mother of a precious boy and sweet baby girl.
I am currently pursuing a bachelors degree in History.
I homeschool, and I love it.
I have a plethora of hobbies and interests.
Cooking. Crocheting/Knitting. Writing. Reading.
I practice Messianic Judaism, which means I believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah, promised to us by G-d, and I choose to worship Him through the Jewish context in which He lived.
Being a wife, mother, and servant of Messiah is the most gratifying life I could ever hope to live.
My job does not come with a salary. I hold no official title. Yet even through the struggles of everyday life, I find my role to be incredibly rewarding.
I’m a little bit of everything. Teacher. Nurse. Counselor. Entertainer. Event planner. Chef. I wear many different hats.
I believe it is my duty to help work toward the Hebrew concept of tikkun olam, or the repairing of the world. I believe my contribution begins with my own family, in my own home.
I have my personal goals outside of caring for my family. I have a list of books I would love to read. I want to write a novel. I want to enter something I bake in our State Fair. I have an entire bucket list of things to do in my lifetime.
For now, though, I am genuinely content with where I am, and what I’m doing.
Not just content.
Thrilled. Elated. All around happy.
Also…I like to read. I like to talk about reading. I like to share the experience of reading.
